I buy a lot of movies on Amazon.com. Most of the time, there is an option between the theatrical release of a movie and one with bonus features (same price). I assume the version with bonus features contains the original movie, in addition to extra content.
Is this true? If so, why should anyone buy the theatrical release version instead of the one with extra content?
