I’m really fixing to watch a genuinely funny movie that will make me cry with laughter. I guess me being a millennial makes it so I consume comedy less in the form of well written jokes in films, and more in the form of memes and short little videos on YouTube. Those things make me erupt in laughter sometimes... but I can’t remember the last time I was so taken aback by a joke or gag in a film that I was driven to actually laughing out loud. Little snortles and puffs of air from my nose, maybe, but hardly any good chortles or guffaws. Am I just a humorless robot?
Anyway, I know humor is subjective, but I guess I’m asking for a film that you truly believe transcends all senses of humor and can make anyone laugh. That said, though, the type of humor I enjoy are things in the vein of Tim and Eric, Human Giant, Eric Andre, and Bill Burr, just to give you an idea. But I’m open to anything, just any film that made you laugh out loud or cry with laughter. Thanks in advance.
