I'm currently watching the extended edition for the 'The Town' and came across a weird continuity issue. Relatively early into the movie, on Doug & the girls' I first date I believe, she asks him about his parents. He says his mom moved far away and his dad moved to the suburbs and doesn't get out much. Like 45 minutes later in the movie, when they've been dating for a while now, she asks if his parents still live in town and he says his mom left the family when he was little and his dad moved out the suburbs. It's weird that she would ask again, as if she didn't know, and it's weird that he told his moms story differently.
Also, I'm currently an hour and forty minutes into this. I've always regarded this as a great bank heist movie, but so far there have been two robberies taking up maybe 8-10 minutes. This is totally just a movie about a relationship, not bank heists. My thoughts about this movie have severely declined. The extended edition doesn't really add that much more bank heisting, but rather more so dating problems.
