I am thinking now about fight club and the "single serving friend" speech. I mean, not everybody flies in planes, but most of us do.
Having said that, which speeches/monologues are so lay to ground, that most people can relate to?
I remember that of American Beauty, where the main character announces he will be dead, and that that he is 42, in a dead job and a dead relationship. I like that one since it is the average Joe (c'mon! most of us are no Elon Musk or Bill Gates).
