Hey so its expected that disney will announce the merger within the next 24 hours. Just wondering if anyone thought about how actors and creatives could grealtly suffer from this consolidation. Lets say, that a director goes against disney's views and directions and becomes blacklisted from them. Wouldn't that person then be royally fucked? How difficult would it be then to find a job in the entertainment space when a large sector has blocked you from working with any of their propertites even again. I for one would be so scared to ever go against house of mouse in that case. Before if you had bad blood with one studio there were others you could go to get work but with this it makes the amount of available options even smaller.
I wonder if people have thought about the serious scary implications it has for creatives in entertainment.
