So, I finally got to see "Get Out" on cable and as a non-American got the feeling all throughout that it's a kind of in-joke of a movie that goes nowhere.
But when that scene came up when Chris asks
Why black people?
… the guy answers:
Because they are cool…
… but he only wants his eyes.
It was hilarious and cringey at the same time yet, I felt strange that I could differ so much than the majority of movie fans.
But, really, am I the only one finding that scene cringe-worthy?
