I just finished watching “The Wailing” on recommendation from Guillermo Del Toro in his AMA and was absolutely floored by how good it was. What other slightly more obscure but incredible foriegn films should I see?

It doesnt just have to be horror/thriller though that is one of my favorite Genres. However it upsets me that such an absolutely incredible film sliped under my radar and it seems the radar of a lot of people in the US. What movies must I see that I likely havent heard of that are similar masterpieces. Movies from Korea? India? Japan? South America perhapse? A great example is “The Raid” which was made in indonesia and is now my favorite action movie of all time.

Any help?
