I saw 1922 last night and thought that it was mind fucking and brilliant.

SPOILERS AHEAD

It was also one of the most disturbing films I've seen in a while. The acting was brilliant, from all of the actors, but especially the main character. I could not understand much of what he was saying due to his heavy drawl, which led me to turn on the captions, but it was great acting nonetheless.

The part that really scared the crap out of me was the dead wife in the basement whispering the events on her husband's ear. The part with the dead wife in the well looking up was also chilling.

I'm a big fan of SK books and movie adaptations (well, many of them), and found this film to be a true gem. The new IT was great, and can't wait for the second part. Gerald's Game was very good as well, but 1922 really messed with my head.

Any thoughts on the film?
