this morning my ex-girlfriend of 3 years, who has a boyfriend messaged me asking if i wanted to meet up sometime for a coffee and a catch up, she said there is literally nothing to is but thought it would be a good idea! we broke up almost 2 years ago, and for the first 3-4 month while broken up we was sleeping together and talking etc but stoped as it became unhealthy for us both, since then we've only spoken once. i said it would be nice to see her and catch up etc as we do have a lot of history together good and bad times, i asked if her boyfriend would be okay with it as i don't want to create and friction between them, she said he'll be fine she's speak to him this weekend, just a friendly catch up nothing for him to worry about, and asked if i had another half, which i don't and told her this. i asked a girl-friend what this means and she said he's probably going through a tough time with him or family life etc and wanted to vent which i kinda got the sixth scene/instinct feeling when i first read the message, asked if everything was okay and she replied she's fine in general. my first thought was maybe she's wanting to hook up but she's a loyal person etc. anybody has a similar experience to this, if so what happened?
