When does the cull occur?
You know the one. Where some rebellion rises up against every movie critic who managed to articulate sincere appreciation for what this particular human artifact managed to communicate to them.
"This one didn't issue 3-5 disclaimers about how the movie won't win any Oscars, off with their head!"
This is a known, generic sentiment that we've seen for many years. It is still being used as a vaccination against criticism....by people who have jobs as critics.
That's some more weak-ass spirit, ya'll. And I'm sick of not knowing more about the reviewers' genuine reactions, in favor of this fuckin' incantation against someone callin' 'em a dickhead. For the sin of liking a non-obvious thing.
Systems are systemic, ya'll. And these random loot boxes of compromised social value need to get patched.
