Hi, new to r/movies here. Wasn't sure where to have a discussion about this.
Has anyone noticed that in Harry Potter the wizards and witches rarely use brooms? They teach them how to use these items but then never ever use them again in real life. You see them travelling by floo powder, and by other magic transportation but almost never by broom. Does the book explain this better? Why are they taught how to fly them if they are literally only used for quidditch and for goofing about. I think there is 2 scenes total where they fly them other than at the school.
