I was just reading a review of Don't Worry, He Won't Get Far on Foot and, while it got just 2/5 stars, the reviewer praised Joaquin Phoenix's performance. Has it ever happened from an awards perspective? That a excellent performance could be recognised independently of a terrible film that surrounds it?
