Have you ever seen a movie where the pacing they're going for has the opposite effect of what is trying to be accomplished? Like a movie will speed up the story a bit so you only really have cool or fun parts, but by doing that you can't get invested in those cool or fun parts and just end up getting bored. I get this mostly in animated movies, but I'm sure there's others out there.
