9 years ago I became infatuated with a hilariously bad movie called "The Room". 6 years ago I was directed on stage by Tommy Wiseau himself here in Vancouver. 4 years ago, Greg Sestero released The Disaster Artist and I read (doing my best Tommy impression)the original room script with him live to an audience, again at the Rio. He signed my book "To the best Johnny". James Franco was IN the audience that night, it was the first time he had ever seen The Room. Tonight, James Franco won a Golden Globe for doing his best Tommy impression. Not trying to brag, but as it goes "What a story, Mark!" So amazing to have seen this come full circle!
