Coming to an end of my Amazon Prime free trial (coughs at the free promo) I have been browsing the endless content that the service has to offer, from major films to independent. So a while back I had a conversation with a friend about watching more "urban" movies. Ya know, local, low budget films like "Ghetto Stories" (Boosie Badazz), "Streets is Watching" (Jay-Z), and even "Shottas" (Ky-Mani Marley). So one snowy night I am browsing for something new, not just a usual James Bond or Harry Potter film like usual, I decide to try something different and watch an urban movie so I came across "Plug Love" which has been suggested to me based off of other films I've watched. This film is uniquely about love, and how sweet it can be to be love, also how it is dangerous. Not to give any spoilers away because it is based and shot in Detroit, this film had my attention the entire time. From the culture to the women, even down to the acting. The energy put out was one hundred percent felt. I recommend people watch this.
