This movie came out of nowhere for me.
I caught it last night and was really blown away. It had this offsetting Harmony Korine/Gummo vibe to it but with a really sweet and charming side. Some vile and depressing stuff juxtaposed with some really happy and uplifting moments, such an odd mix but it just worked so well. Beautifully shot, the cinematography was just so good.
Has anyone else seen it yet? What did you guys think of it? I plan on watching it again for sure but even as of now it's one of my surprise favorites this year.
