So in the first chase scene Michael Douglas runs with the waitress and they are trying to escape.
When they are trying to climb something, the waitress informs him that he has to go first since she has a skirt and doesn’t wear any underwear. The banter about the underwear repeats throughout the scene.
But later we find out she was in on it the whole time, which begs the question - how come she wasn’t prepared?
Not having underwear didn’t change anything about the chase, except making him go first on the first climb, which didn’t really matter, and didn’t make her story more belieiveable, since it’s kind of weird that a waitress that is around customers all day wouldn’t wear underwater.
While the company that runs the game does fucked up things, but there is no reason for them to demand her to do this, so why go through the trouble of convincing an employee to go commando?
Of course, maybe she was lying, but still, why? For what purpose?
