One thing I noticed, and that's a major difference from Batman Begins to The Dark Knight Rises is the way the League of Shadows are portrayed.
In Begins, they are much more like fantasy ninja's. In Rises, they are much more stripped down - aesthetically and the way they're viewed by the CIA, they're viewed as more like a terrorist organisation/Al Qeada like.
I'm sure this was a conscious decision on the part of Nolan, given that TDK was so good at recognizing our post-9/11 fears regarding terrorists (he shifted Joker from a mobster to terrorist), he did the same for the LOS.
My question is what did /r/movies think of the way he changed the League of Shadows? I could believe this version of the LOS exists alongside Heath's Joker, I struggle reconciling that the LOS ninja's from Begins could exist in that universe though.
