I'm sick of watching tons of films where the main hero is destined to save the world/be the one (think Matrix/Harry Potter etc.) and just has to find the talent that was always within them. What are movies where the main character has to work hard and practise to improve and get better? Gattaca and Rocky come to mind, would love more recent examples!
