What's the target audience for Netflix's Bright? [POSSIBLE SPOILERS]

Honestly, I can't really tell what's going on with this film. It's like a terrible buddy cop, superhero, ultra violent mess. I see Reddit saying they enjoyed it so I gave it a shot, but Jesus Christ, I could have not disliked this movie any more.

The acting...ugh. The "cholo" gangsters/orcs, just....why? The girl who plays the elf has one of the most cringeworthy performances I've seen in a modern blockbuster. Will Smith just plays himself, which is fine, but not even he could sell lines like "THEYRE TRYING TO KILL US FOR THE MAGIC WAND!"

The plot is so uninspired and derivative. I could not have given a shit if anyone dies and I can't even remember the characters names and I just watched it ten minutes ago.

Then there's the fact that every scene drops fuck every other word and the violence is so over the top and not in a Tarantino way, more like what a 14 year old would think is cool. So I don't think we're getting any families giving this a shot and pretty sure if a parent saw their kid watching this, they'd turn it off.

I...just don't fucking understand. It's like a shit version of Guardians of the Galaxy mixed with Harry Potter multiplied by massive doses of Suicide Squad. How is this getting a sequel?! Netflix seems to know good content - Beasts of No Nation, Okja, I Don't Want to Live In This World Anymore, but this movie was a train wreck and it's budget blows my mind.

If you liked this movie, all the power to you, but I can't seem to see who they would market this too. Usually Training Day fans don't really sync up with Harry Potter fans.
