ok so I hardly ever see any news about this movie, and all I know is that it’s in post-production with a release date of January 2019 (why January??). It’s directed by James Gray and stars Brad Pitt and Tommy Lee Jones as father & son. The son is apparently trying to reach his father who is in deep space or something. It sounds a lot like Interstellar, with this great ambitious deep space movie with a really emotional core. Brad Pitt rarely involves himself in bad movies, and he & James Gray showed with The Lost City of Z that they can make a movie with a realistic portrayal of something that’s almost laughable to take seriously. I have super high hopes for this movie despite not knowing much about it. The Interstellar production crew is apparently working on this as well. Here’s the IMDB
So TL;DR- the ingredients are: a very good director, Brad Pitt, Tommy Lee Jones, it’s an emotional space epic, it’ll probably have very ambitious visuals, great cast & crew, but it also has a January release date.
Can anyone shed more light on this movie??
