I thought that for the film to really work, the viewer should feel invested in the relationship between Alma and Woodcock, yet i felt that I didn’t care for any of them. The performances were terrific as expected but the story just didn’t hook me. People who liked the movie, please tell me what I’ve missed as I don’t get the universal praise this movie has got.
