Ok... so yesterday I matched with someone on Tinder and we were both looking to hookup with one another. We both liked each other enough to exchange numbers. The conversation was going very well until she asked me this one question...
"Why not a relationship instead of hook ups?"
I then responded with "Because relationships are a lot harder to have. You'd need to find someone you really connect with and have a fun time being around. It also helps to be in the same area if you wanted to meet on a regular basis to do things together. Hookups are nice because you're going to do that one specific thing that you crave. They're sporadic and occur maybe once or twice a month given the people who want to. But it's just easier to have sex and spend a passionate moment with someone rather than all the other stuff that comes with a relationship. Now don't get me wrong, a relationship would be fantastic. It's just very hard to find someone"
Her next reaction was this... "Yelp that just killed it goodbye get rid of my number have fun with that"
I honestly don't have the slightest clue as to how anything I said there could be that offensive. I wasn't intending on being offensive at all, just honestly answering her question. I've literally been analyzing that paragraph for hours, trying to figure out what was so offensive that she just completely shut me down...
What I wanted to ask any of you, man or woman, is if you find what I just said offensive or just being honest. If you could, please decipher what I said so I can understand what I ACTUALLY said... I really need feedback on this cause I'm trying so hard to figure out what was so bad...
