I recently watched Moon (2009) and loved it. I went to research about it and how Duncan Jones came up with the fantastic idea, etc. and stumbled upon this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O09qW_DwoRo
It seems like the premise is the same, and even many of the shots in Moon are extremely similar to Eutamnesia. I don't see Duncan Jones mentioning anywhere that he was inspired by this 1999 film, and he claims that he came up with the idea by himself.
I could believe that several people could come up with the exact same premise, that's plausible. But it's suspicious to see how Duncan also came up with other extremely similar even close to identical details. Does anyone know more about this?
EDIT: On second thought, "ripoff" may not be a good word to use here ("inspired" would work better) but I can't edit the title, so...
