Ran is one of the best Japan Feudal period's I've seen in ages and really enjoyed iut.
.......................................................................................... the one set in 16th or 17th Japan about a guy in charge with giving his sons power and then back firing on him ( granted doesn't have to be that kind of plot but set in the same period of Japan or earlier before they even have guns ) ..........................................................................................
Fantasies are okay (I've seen princess mononoke and would prefer live action but I won't turn down a well made anime based on the same topic ( yes I've seen Ninja Scroll as well ))
