To preface this post, I'd like to say that I feel like Get Out, as is, leaves nothing to be desired. It's well paced, thoughtful, interesting on multiple viewings... all in all an excellently crafted movie. But... I heard about this alternative ending on a NPR segment. At first I felt like it was too on the nose, but I wonder what others think: Do you prefer the Rod-ex-machina, or this more cynical, but ultimately more realistic ending? https://vimeo.com/218161622
