I'm a huge fan of movies like Hedwich and the Angry Inch, The Commitments, Begin Again, and Sing Street. These films have lots of music because the story is about musicians but they're not really 'musicals' right? The music happens when the band is playing, unlike a real musical where the dialog happens in song.
So what do we call this genre of film? It's not a 'musical', right? Is there a name for these type of films?
ps: if there are other movies like these please suggest them to me because they're my absolute favorite, thanks :D
