<SPOILERS>
Has anyone else seen this movie?? Wow what a fun ride this was. Obviously inspired by the Matrix IMO, this film is action packed and compelling.
I loved the concept of a world where no one is allowed to feel and what would happen if the person / people in charge of keeping it that way began to feel. Christian Bale was great in this and really did a great job showing both emotion and non-emotion.
The action in this movie is fantastic and though similar to movies like the Matrix it's still its own thing. It's basically sword fighting with guns and boy was it entertaining. Especially the uniqueness of holding the guns by the barrels and using the handles like hammers in hand to hand combat.
The ending was also fantastic! Multiple twists that keep you on the edge of your seat and the fact that the "father" is actually a complete hipocrite who is guilty of "sense crime" himself is a perfect way to end it As IMO it shows the true nature of the human condition.
Very curious to see if anyone else has seen this as it seems to be relatively unknown.
