I feel like the movie makers missed out on the opportunity to cast The Rock as a geologist/seismologist. The ROCK could have studied ROCKs, with a master's degree in ROCKs, with ROCK hard abs, and a ROCK hard personality, as he ROCKs his failing marriage in his ROCK hard arms with the threat of imminent death by ROCKS. Seriously. Has no one thought of this?
