I absolutely loved what he did with The Lost City of Z last year (it was #2 in my top ten of 2017) and I've been getting into his filmography with stuff like The Immigrant, We Own The Night and The Yards. And I gotta say: This guy is fucking fantastic. I love how he writes his characters and the incredible emotion he brings to the proceedings.
And to hear that he's doing a Sci-Fi film next year with Brad Pitt and the DP of Interstellar is making my mouth drool. I 100% expect r/movies to jump on his butt when this comes out, lol.
