Could mental "disorders" like ADHD actually be humanities evolution?

I remember reading about how since the TV electronic era, more and more kids are developing it, because as infants their brains are bombarded with tons of information.

I've met people with ADHD that, because how they were raised, see it as a disability, and it hinders them. But I live with someone with it who thinks it's an evolutionary adaptation to the world, and because of that mind set he has become something quite remarkable. He runs a massive jobsite and uses his ADHD to filter through every aspect of the job with remarkable speed and efficiency whilst running his life also at 1000 miles a second. While he says it has its frustrating moments, generally they are caused by regular people being too slow.

In the age of the technological boom, it only makes sense for our brains to develop to be able to process and handle this massive bombardment of information. Normal people get flustered but he lives for it, and it works amazing.
