I'm looking for movies where the main character is saying one thing but thinking another, in order to see how that comes across onscreen because I'm writing a screenplay where one character spends most of the time leading on another, and the idea is that the other character isn't supposed to know, but the audience is. But then at some point he starts to actually believe his lies.
I thought of maybe undercover movies like Donnie Brasco and the Departed/Infernal Affairs. What others are there?
