Hey All,
I'm moving into a duplex this weekend. The duplex smells strongly of natural gas, not sewage. So bad so that when you are outside the front door, you can smell it. The land lord says the smell will go away and that it is there because the property has been vacant so long. Apparently if the water gets used regularly, it will go away, so they say. Does that sound right?
Land lord says that she has had the fire department check it out and that there is no danger.
