if you haven't heard, Disney is planning to acquire all of Fox assets except for the news-coverage networks. for 52.4 Billion dollars.
the deal is being studied by US justice department, however Disney is already the biggest media company in the nation seconded by Comcast and Time warner.
they would own ALOT if this goes through. and am not sure if thats a good thing as they would be basically competing with themselves. I mean if this goes through I don't know where is the "oh this is too much, its monopolistic" I mean its already kinda is before this deal. probably since they got Pixar and Marvel that was really a force and shouldn't have been let through
