Fine, they brought him back to life. I’ll give them team that success. But Superman is basically the ultimate superhero, combining the strengths of all the other ones on the team. He’s portrayed as at least as fast as the Flash (so why do we need Barry Allen at all?). He is much stronger than Wonder Woman, Aquaman, and Cyborg (maybe even combined?). He can fly like Cyborg. He doesn’t need Batman’s technologies because of his innate strength, his ability to fly, laser eyes, etc. Aquaman’s unique abilities are completely absent in this movie (except holding off the water in the tunnel for a few seconds - big deal).
There are only two areas that Superman has anything close to a failing compared to the team - he doesn’t have Batman’s tactical genius and he can’t control machines/electronics like Cyborg. But at the end of the day, the Justice League is basically Despicable Me with Superman playing Gru and the rest of the team as the supporting Minions. Superman single-handedly took down the villain when the other five COMBINED kept getting their asses handed to them.
So what was the point even of having a Justice League movie. Why not just another Superman one?
