Just want to know if its been confirmed if they are doing an intro movie for Venom but will incorporate him into a future spidey movie or if this is a one time Venom in his own universe movie. From the looks of it, it seems like they have completely went away from the original spiderman storyline where Peter Parker is the original host for the symbiote but it seems like in this movie Eddie is the original host. It doesn't make sense since the Venom symbiote gets its properties by binding to Spiderman hence the Spiderman like abilities and Spider symbol across his chest (which can also be seen on Venom's chest in the trailer). Feel like this movie will fail to provide the proper backstory for Venom and sony will put their own bs twist on it ruining the fan favorite character for everyone.
