I'm a teacher running a week-long mini-class about film and food. I need at least five full-length international or intercultural films about food or at least heavily featuring it. I already have two lined up - The Hundred-Foot Journey and Jiro Dreams of Sushi.
So tell me about your favorite food movie and why you think its great. Remember its for a class, so films need to be high-school appropriate. I'm also hoping for each film to be culturally different from the others, so bonus points if it is not about or from a culture for a movie I'm already showing (currently: French/Indian & Japanese).
I'll pick at least the top 3 here to show and discuss with my class. We'll also get to make or order some food to match the movie!
