One that sticks out to me is the ending of Gone Girl. The idea that these two horrendous people (albeit Amy is far worse than Nick) will be responsible for a new human life is appalling. It also makes the movie that much more compelling to me. I couldn't wrap my head around all the shit that Amy puts people through, only to come out of it relatively unscathed.
