It's such an incredible hassle to clean it off of items. Jesus christ you almost have to scratch off a cm of the upper layer of the objects surface in order to free it.
Is it some type of fungus? It's bothering me greatly because a lot of my kitchen items I don't use much, so I store them away but then I take them out when I need them eventually and they feel horribly sticky and weird. It's unpleasant because the items are barely used but you want to replace them right away (especially once you get into the process of trying to clean the stickyness off).
Please help.
