I was re-watching one of my favourite trilogies again yesterday and in Back to the Future: Part II at the end when Doc is flying the air when the storm is there, how was Doc sent back in time to 1885. By my understanding, don't you need the 1.21 gigawatts and to be going 88 mp/h as well in order for the machine to work.
He only met 1 of those criteria (the 1.21 gigawatts with that lightning strike)
So how it possible he was sent back in time?
