I don't hang out in this sub, apologies if this is not the right place to ask this.
Maybe 3-4 years ago, I saw a movie on netflix or some other type of online stream. It had a "vaporwave" type feel of it, I'm just really trying to find it again. I'm almost 99% sure it was a movie and not a tv series or anything like that. It also had a black mirror feel to it, but much older.
The things I remember:

Vaporwave feel inside of a computer type simulation maybe?

The setting was in the desert or something weird like that, the main character found something in like a locker?? or something, and I remember the end of the movie he realized the world stopped at a certain point and there was an invisible wall in the desert.

Again, I know this movie was in the 70s-80s- or 90s. It had an old vibe to it, the graphics weren't all that great, but I cant find this absolutely anywhere, it could've involved time travel.

The entire point of this movie involved this guy eventually leaving the place he was at, at the end of the movie he started driving and realized it wasn't real or something..
Does this ring a bell for anyone? Sorry but I only half remember the entire theme of the movie, it's so fuzzy in my brain but I would LOVE to watch it again. Thank you
