So I watched The Prestige yesterday, and I really enjoyed it, but something confused me. When Borden is in Prison, he's reading Angier's journal, and at one point he reads that Angier wrote " And now you're sitting in prison for my murder". This line indicates that Angier knew that Borden was going to sneak down the stage and witness him drown, and because he knew this, Angier was going to frame him. My question is, how did Angier know that Borden was going to be there right when he was drowning? How is it possible that Angier that Borden was going to be there at that exact moment? If anyone reads this and doesn't understand the question, just let me know and I'll try to explain a little bit better.
