With Solo just released: What are some good films where you absolutely know the main character(s) will live? I have heard complains of many prequel-type films being that the drama is neutered by knowing the characters will live. So, are there any examples that buck the trend? It doesn't have to be a prequel necessarily, but a film where in the beginning you KNOW the main character will live.
What's the formula then to create good, non life threatening, drama? Getting invested deeply with the characters perhaps?
