Just got back from a screening of the movie. It was good if you were looking for a Tommy film. The acting is stilted and the dialogue is bizarre but the premise is interesting if nothing else. Fun movie overall
That being said, it was a completely different movie from what I felt Chapter One set up. The first part was a bizarre, almost David Lynch styled thriller while this one didn’t lean as heavily into that. I was sure the clues and certain dangling plot threads would lead to the reveal that he was a vampire, since he was infamously talked out of adding that twist to The Room but they played it straight instead
There were a of loose ends that were left unanswered from the first film and the second one doubled down on a coupe while adding a few new ones. The ending made a Chapter Three seem possible despite no news about it
