We're just watching 3 different run throughs of the same level in which the player fails or succeeds at different QTE's, that go on to ripple through other cut scenes. Her answering the phone is the player beginning the challenge to get to the grocery store in X amount of time. We see 2 failed attempts before the stage is successfully cleared.
