I'm watching "The Godfather" reunion on YouTube, and Al Pacino makes an interesting comment on how well De Niro's portrayal of Vito meshes with Brando's, so that if you watch the two movies in chronological order instead of the produced order, it's seamless and natural.
The question I have is whether there are any productions of the two movies edited to be in chronological order?
