So one of the first plot points in JW2 is the volcano erupting. Only 3 years after the first Jurassic World movie.
Geology exists. Why did they decide to build a multi million (billion?) dollar theme park on an active volcano site, and one they knew was likely to erupt in the near future?
Even if they didn’t know WHEN it would erupt, and for whatever reason still decided to build there, an active volcano in general wouldn’t allow them to have insurance, etc.
Did anyone notice this? It’s a plot device that undermines the prior movie completely.
So basically, if nothing happened in the first Jurassic World and the park was fine - it still would've been destroyed and been a huge epidemic three years later
