Just a quick question about RT that I noticed today.
I was watching a few interviews with Johnny Knoxville as he was promoting his new movie Action Point. I followed up with some reviews of the movie, but noticed something funny on Roten Tomatoes.
There's a person who has posted two reviews for the film, but for different publications. As such, wouldn't that unbalance the rating system the website is trying to achieve?
I'm not a big fan of the site because I think people should form their own opinions (I know plenty of people who think some of my favorites are terrible), but there are people who follow it religiously. Does the website do anything to prevent this from happening? Is this a hiccup? Or have I accidently uncovered what publications do to either promote or smite films?
