Baristas of Reddit, when we ask for a coffee for here but you give it to us in a to-go cup, are you trying to tell us to leave?

I know sometimes all you have are to-go cups but sometimes I ask for a for-here cup anyways. Is it a simple mistake? Is the place overcrowded and you’re trying to get people to go? Are you out of for here cups?
