Girls think I'm perving on them, but I'm not. Literally the girls in my area have some shit they have been spreading on facebook claiming I'm a pervert, and that anytime I'm around a girl they act like they think I'm checking them out. I AM NOT THOUGH!?!? This belief makes them act really uncomfortable around me, which in turn makes me really uncomfortable around them. Im talking situations where I really have no choice but to interact with them, like checking out at the grocery store or going to a restaurant. Its basically forced me to stay inside all the time, yet even if I look out my window I'm "perving" on girls apparently. Its ruining my life and contrary to what they believe I am NOT checking them ou, but they have convinced one another with some sort of mass-hysteria like situation where they all truly 100% believe I am because a few girls started saying shit. This all started after I rejected a few girls who tried hitting on me (not my type), they then started this online campaign of hate/misinformation against me and it has not stopped since. I don't know what to do???? When im interacting with cashiers I will literally turn my back to them, just to try and let them know im NOT CHECKING THEM OUT but they STILL act like im checking them out (I guess I got eyes in the back of my head?). ITS SO CRINGEY. Does anyone have any suggestions for dealing with this?? How do I 'exonerate' myself? I just don't know what to do.
